Virtual therapy for individual adults ages 18 and over
Find me in your health plan’s telemedicine platform
or pay privately
For patients using health plan benefits
Your health plan may have a contract with one of the national telemedicine provider groups I work with as a contractor (Headway, Spring Health, Amwell/LiveHealth Online, and MDLIVE.) If so, you may be able to find my profile, schedule or request an appointment, or send me a secure message through the portal. If you are not sure who your health plan’s contracted telemedicine platform is, sign into your health plan website and searching for ‘virtual’ or ‘telemedicine.’ Please note: Fees and billing are handled by your health plan and the telemedicine platform, not me.
You can see my availability and book directly with me on Headway or Spring Health.
For patients paying privately (out of pocket)
Patients who wish to pay out of pocket rather than use their health plan benefits may schedule as private pay on Headway or Spring Health. Initial visits are 45-60 minutes long and follow up visits are either 38-52 minutes or 53-60 minutes, payable in full at the time of the visit by credit card. Headway and Spring Health provide an invoice you can submit to your health plan for potential reimbursement as an out of network service. Unfortunately, I cannot determine what if any costs your health plan will cover, so please only schedule a private pay appointment if you are fully prepared and agree to accept the cost.
Late cancellations and no shows
To protect others’ access to therapy, patients will be charged a fee for late cancellations and no shows. By scheduling an appointment, patients agree to pay the fee without complaint with awareness that late cancellation and no show fees will not be reimbursed by your health plan. Patients are permitted a maximum of two late cancellations or no shows in a three month period, after which you must find a new therapist. Patients who lose access to care because of late cancellations or no shows can search their health plan directory, ask their prescriber, or search PsychologyToday to identify a new therapist.
Definition: A late cancellation occurs when a patient cancels their appointment less than 24 hours in advance of the appointment start time. Please note that canceling the day before may be a late cancellation if you cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment start time.
